Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude Hints

Charlotte

  • 1 of 9: Charlotte is in the main campus area, next to the Biff Barf Performing Arts Center where she's been since the game began. However, you can't talk to her until you've started round 3 of Swingles. (Furthermore, she won't talk to you until after you finish with Beatrice.)
  • 2 of 9: When she'll finally talk to you, you'll have to go through her first Conversation mini-game.
  • 3 of 9: Well, that was certainly fascinating, huh? When it's over, talk to Charlotte again to start a really easy Tapper-like Serving mini-game in which you pass out her fliers to interested students.
  • 4 of 9: Then you're going to have to do a very tough version of the conversation mini-game in which there are the additional obstacles of snowflakes. Avoid them at all costs, since they'll freeze you in place for a second.
  • 5 of 9: Talk to Charlotte again to get her to convince Larry to pay $10 and vandalize the big Alpha Bull statue. This works just like the Mixing Drinks and Spanking mini-games (except that the mini paint roller that you can buy from Don Dokken in Lefty's Too on the crappy streets is the make-the-game-easier item).
  • 6 of 9: Report in to Charlotte to get taken to a meeting in Luba & Ione's room in the dorm (another conversation mini-game).
  • 7 of 9: When that's over, you'll find that you're in the nice streets area near the Bum Cakes bakery, and that Beatrice and Leopold the monkey are staring in the bakery's window.
  • 8 of 9: Now's your chance! You need to snatch Leopold and help him escape. This works like an Avoidance mini-game. Walk up to Leopold and "activate" him to start it.
  • 9 of 9: Well, that's what it takes to impress Charlotte and get her ending cut-scene (in which Leopold screws up Larry's chances with her, the bum monkey!). You'll get a copy of the book "Das Kapital" as a token to remember Charlotte by.
