What all optional things can I do before starting this mission?

  • 1 of 10: You start out in Bailey's office, so talk to him about all the newly available topics.
  • 2 of 10: There are lots of new hub missions that you can get now. See the Later Hub Missions section to find out how to get them all.
  • 3 of 10: There are also three old hub missions that you couldn't finish before, but that you can finish now: "Irune: Book of Plenix," "Citadel: Cerberus Automated Turret Schematics," and "Citadel: Heating Unit Stabilizers."
  • 4 of 10: Besides all of that, you can do several other things on the Citadel now.
  • 5 of 10: When you return to the Normandy, Liara will give you the "Mesana: Distress Signal" side mission. Before you go anywhere, check around the Normandy for new things to do.
  • 6 of 10: If you encouraged Joker to start a relationship with EDI earlier, you can find them in the Citadel's Purgatory Bar area, near the middle-floor bar counter. Talk to EDI to get a couple of rep points.
  • 7 of 10: If you did the private meeting with James in your cabin, you can talk to him in the docks holding area's Cargo Hold C to get a couple of rep points.
  • 8 of 10: When you return to the Normandy again, you may be able to get a couple of rep points by talking to Admiral Anderson in the comm room. Again, if that's not available now, it will be later.
  • 9 of 10: Once all that's done, it'll be time to go exploring for assets again. There are three new clusters available that you can find stuff in.
  • 10 of 10: After you finish the two new side missions, there'll be a bit more to do on the Citadel. Also, if you recruited Dr. Chakwas, you can talk to her in the medical lab to get a few rep points.
