Mysterious Journey II Hints
What do I do next, if the green button grows three bumps?
1 of 7: Remember, your goal for now is to grow the stalk past the five-bump hurdle, without reaching the maximum height of nine bumps.
2 of 7: At three bumps tall, you will need to watch for two things -- first, make sure the color you choose won't be able to grow to the maximum height of nine bumps; and also make sure that your choice will grow the stalk past the five-bump hurdle.
3 of 7: Avoid using blue, which will make the stalk grow to the maximum height (without leaves at the very top).
4 of 7: Pressing green would cause the stalk to grow two more bumps, making the stalk five bumps tall -- and unsolvable.
5 of 7: Your only possible move is to use yellow next. The next move after yellow will depend on how much growth yellow creates. Remember, your goal is to create a stalk nine bumps tall, with leaves at the top.
6 of 7: Yellow will grow either three, four, or five additional bumps, for a total height of either six, seven, or eight bumps. You'll need to subtract the current height of the stalk from the maximum of nine. The result will be either one, two, or three. With any of these answers, one of the colored buttons will be able to complete the growth with leaves at the top.
7 of 7: Remember that each color consistently grows leaves on a specific bump. Choose the colored button that will produce leaves at the very top. For example, if the stalk were eight bumps high, then it would only take one bump to grow it to the top. In this example, you'll need to use the green button in order to grow a leaf at the top.
