Mysterious Journey II Hints
What do I do next, if the green button grows two bumps?
1 of 6: Remember your immediate goal is to grow the stalk past the five-bump hurdle, without reaching the maximum height.
2 of 6: At two bumps tall, you are still a bit away from the five-bump hurdle -- and you'll have to be sure the color you choose will get you past it. Keep in mind how much growth each color will produce to help you decide which color to choose next.
3 of 6: Avoid using green or yellow, since at this height, pressing green or yellow will result in a growth five bumps tall -- which is unsolvable.
4 of 6: Pressing blue is the only option that will guarantee that the stalk will grow past the five-bump hurdle. The next move after blue will depend on how much growth the blue creates. Remember, your goal is to create a stalk nine bumps tall, with leaves at the top.
5 of 6: Blue will grow between four and six bumps, resulting in a stalk either six, seven, or eight bumps tall. You'll need to subtract the current height of the stalk from the maximum of nine. The result will be either one, two, or three. With any of these answers, one of the colored buttons will be able to complete the growth with leaves at the top.
6 of 6: Remember that each color consistently grows leaves on a specific bump. Choose the colored button that will produce leaves at the very top. For example, if the stalk were eight bumps high, then it would only take one bump to grow it to the top. In this example, you would use the green button in order to grow a leaf at the top.
