Notes and Extras
  • 1 of 6: There are three treasure chests in the area. One is right near where you start, one is in the Dragonfly meadow east of Yrsa's house, and the other one is behind the locked door near the Verhoffin Ruins.
  • 2 of 6: There's a pedestal just past the first wooden bridge that gives a temporary +10 to Might.
  • 3 of 6: There's a cooking pot near Forad Darre that gives a temporary +10 to Elemental resistance.
  • 4 of 6: There's a well next to Yrsa's house that can restore hit points.
  • 5 of 6: There's a great gimmick in this area that you can milk for unlimited treasure. For some reason, the Isle of Ashes area partially regenerates every time you leave and reenter it (which you can do by entering and exiting the Verhoffin Ruins). Treasure chests always regenerate, and monsters sometimes do. Use that fact to milk this region for lots of treasure before you leave.
  • 6 of 6: You can combine the above hint with the Minisaves cheat (see first link below) to really get the good stuff. Enter the Verhoffin Ruins, raid the chests you can get to safely, exit the ruins and raid the chest that's past the nearby locked door, move the Verhoffin Ruins' files out of the "Minisaves" directory, and repeat. (However, for every time you do this, you lose an artifact later on. See the second link below.)
