How do I get some oars?

  • 1 of 15: There's a pair of oars somewhere on Monkey Island.
  • 2 of 15: And they're way below sea level.
  • 3 of 15: Look at the crack just north of the south shore.
  • 4 of 15: Now, how can you get to the oars at the bottom of the chasm?
  • 5 of 15: You need to know the ropes...
  • 6 of 15: Or at least have them.
  • 7 of 15: You'll need two pieces of rope.
  • 8 of 15: You have to tie the ropes to something, and you can't tie them together.
  • 9 of 15: Look at the crack for things to tie the ropes to.
  • 10 of 15: Look for sturdy things.
  • 11 of 15: Sturdy things that are firmly rooted.
  • 12 of 15: The tree and the sturdy stump will do.
  • 13 of 15: Tie one rope to the tree to climb down a little.
  • 14 of 15: Tie the next rope to the stump to reach the base of the crevice.
  • 15 of 15: You can now retrieve the oars.
