Character Development Tips
1 of 6: Your first major goal after getting your character created at the beginning of the game is to get him trained up and leveled up to the point where he's powerful enough to take on just about anything.
2 of 6: In Morrowind, you can level up by resting for one hour after increasing any combination of your major and minor skills by a total of 10 or more points. That means increasing your skills is something to start working on right away.
5 of 6: PATCH NOTE: If you've installed any patches, then the statement on page 26 of the manual (about how miscellaneous skill practice will increase your attribute multipliers when you level up) will be true. It isn't in the unpatched version.
6 of 6: One way to achieve a high level early in the game is to make and/or steal a lot of money and then buy as much training as you can in your major and minor skills. This is the basis of my so-called "Creep Train" strategy, which you can read about by clicking on the link below.
