How can I tune the cables?
1 of 11: Click on the large rectangle at the bottom center of the panel to open it. Press the blue button inside.
2 of 11: The chair will slide down the cables to a position at the bottom. The three controls at the bottom are what you will use to tune the cables.
3 of 11: As for knowing how to tune the three cables -- there are three clues, one for each cable.
4 of 11: Remember the three large crystals at different locations around Spire?
5 of 11: Did you pay attention to the strips of graduated metal at the base of each crystal (in one case, the strip is visible at the base of the crystal only in a "vision" made possible by the amulet)?
6 of 11: Sirrus had already marked on each strip, the correct setting for each crystal.
7 of 11: He used a simple white mark on the side of each metal strip to mark the correct setting.
8 of 11: For two metal strips, the answer shows in front of those crystals. For the crystal by Sirrus' desk, the strip of graduated metal was blown off the crystal.
9 of 11: You can either watch the "memory" at the crystal, by using the amulet...
10 of 11: ...or you can find the metal strip imbedded into a metal support located between the crystal and the chessboard (the top of the metal strip is on the right).
11 of 11: Next, you'll need to figure out how to match up the individual crystals with the individual tuning cables. When you are ready to be lifted up again, turn to the left and press the large, round (black and yellow) button.
