Myst IV: Revelation Hints
Return to Dream -- Conversations with Sirrus, Part II
1 of 7: This puzzle operates with the same rules as the previous one. For instructions on how to work the puzzle see:
2 of 7: This puzzle is more difficult than the previous one, and will require a bit more reasoning to complete.
3 of 7: The reduced number of locations makes it more difficult to "stash" unused symbols (and making it more necessary to "undo" already-completed locations, as you solve others).
4 of 7: Because of the increase in difficulty, it is more critical than ever that you start by solving the longest conversation chain first.
5 of 7: Rather than having a couple of locations with a large number of symbols, and a couple with only one symbol, the correct solution is going to require a mixture that will strain the final step of the solution -- namely, getting the right symbols to the right locations.
6 of 7: In the case of this second conversation puzzle, the end result will be that one location will contain one symbol, one will contain two symbols, one will contain three, and one will contain four. All of these factors, added together, make this more challenging than the previous puzzle. But all of the logic involved (and the experience gained) in the previous puzzle applies here, as well.
