Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake Hints
How do I take pictures of birds for Red?
of 16: Have you listened to the tape of bird songs yet? You won't be able to recognize any birds until you do. Be sure you listen to all six bird songs. He left his tape player at Em's Emporium on the west side of the lake, so he needs you to get that tape player so you can listen to the bird songs.
of 16: Bring Red's camera, head off into the forest during the daytime along the path leading away from the east side of the cabin, and look everywhere for birds. Follow the path to the cemetery, but you may find birds on other forest paths as well.
of 16: Keep looking along the paths in the forest maze and you will find the birds you need. You will hear them and recognize their song first.
of 16: When you hear them, look for them in the immediate area. Have the camera out and ready. When you see a bird, quickly snap a picture.
of 16: You should be able to find and take pictures of the Blue Jay, the Goldfinch, and the Robin.
of 16: You should also be able to find the Tanager and the Cardinal, but they fly away before you can snap their picture. You must have scared them. Can you think of what you should do next?
of 16: Ask Red Knott what to do. He's the bird expert, so he should know.
of 16: Red suggests you need to camouflage your clothing.
of 16: Re-enter the forest maze. Wear the camo gear and have the camera out and ready. Return to the spots where you last saw the Tanager and the Cardinal. Now camouflaged, you should be able to take pictures of them without scaring them.
of 16: Here is a diagram mapping the location of Red's birds:
