Can I negotiate with the dragon for what I want?
1 of 9: Tymofarrar is an amiable sort, so talk to him about it.
2 of 9: You really want two things from him: Deekin's freedom (so the little dope will give you the tower statue) and the mask artifact (which the remaining kobolds managed to deliver to Tymo).
3 of 9: Tell him where Deekin is (or lie), then say that he wants to be free.
4 of 9: Ask about J'Nah and agree to kill her in exchange for Deekin's freedom.
5 of 9: Tymo will give you a special flask of powder that you can use to weaken J'Nah when you fight her. He also gives you a key to use on the nearby square-shaped rock. Do so to be teleported to the boulder just outside the entrance to the kobold caves.
6 of 9: Now go off and deal with J'Nah. Doing so is also the way to get the dragon's tooth artifact, so see its quest info for details.
7 of 9: Once you've killed J'Nah and have her Phylactery of Ice, return to Tymofarrar and tell him the good news. (The fastest way back is to have Azith teleport you to the High Forest, have the hermit teleport you to the kobold cave entrance, and then use the boulder to teleport to Tymo's room.)
8 of 9: He'll decide to kill you, but you can put a quick stop to that by pointing out the Phylactery of Ice that you now possess. He knows you could use it to turn into a mighty frost giant and kill him.
9 of 9: He'll grudgingly let you have one reward for free. You can ask him to free Deekin or hand the mask over, but the best thing to do is to ask him for gold and magic. That way you'll get an extra 500 gold and a pair of Boots of Striding +1. As for the mask and Deekin's freedom, you'll get both at once when you kill Tymo.
