Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide Hints
I still haven't found the Wise Wind! Where is it?
of 10: It must be filed away somewhere so you can't reach it.
of 10: But remember the nature of the magic books in this place.
of 10: Notice that there's an empty magic book near the one that can transport you to the Beggar's Love story.
of 10: To write in the book, you'll need the the magic pen and inkwell from the other two book areas. See the links below if you don't have those items yet.
of 10: Also, you'll have to have the "Three Winds - An Ancient Ritual" quest in your journal. If you haven't got it, you can get it by finding a book named "Temple of the Winds - Rites and Rituals" in a small side room in the library, or you can talk to William Rey after rewriting his book's ending (see link in previous hint).
of 10: Click on the empty book to get some options for writing a story that puts the Wise Wind into a certain setting.
of 10: NOTE: If your Wisdom stat is high enough, you'll get an insight-related scenario choice that you should take because of the extra treasure you can get from it.
of 10: Read your new story to get yourself and the Wise Wind transported to the area you chose. Rey and Karsus will also be there if you rewrote their books and got their pledges to help you.
of 10: The Wise Wind is very difficult to take down, especially since it keeps teleporting about the place, but you and your support should be able to kill it without too much trouble.
of 10: Once it's down, take its sphere and use the zappy doorway to return to the Great Library. (If you went to the treasure area, be sure to get all the gems out of the treasure chest near the ship before you go.)
