What's going on in the area between the City Core and the Blacklake District?
1 of 7: This heavily-scorched dump is the old servant quarters area for the Blacklake District, and is now called No-Man's-Land.
2 of 7: You can talk to a no-man named Cendran inside the gate to find out what's going on here.
3 of 7: He'll give you an optional quest to go on, but you don't have to do it in order to reach the Blacklake District area.
4 of 7: Just wind your way around the streets to the north until you come to the gate that leads to the small barricade area.
5 of 7: It's inside the barricade that you'll find Blacklake District's gate captain, so talk to him about things.
6 of 7: He'll tell you about Meldanen, a local sorcerer who's been hoarding food and conducting illicit experiments.
7 of 7: He'll also tell you to go talk to Formosa about it, since she's the most outspoken of Meldanen's detractors. (You can also get an optional quest from Harn that's inconsequential to the main plotline.)
