of 14: Equip the Silver Sword of Gith, and read through its extremely long description to see what all cool features it has.
of 14: There's a portal to Shadow Mulsantir that you need to take, but first open the door near it and raid the armor rack and treasure chest in the area beyond.
of 14: Going through the portal will take you to the room of doors in the Plane of Shadows version of Mulsantir's Veil Theater.
of 14: Use the bedroom's shadow portal and leave the theater, then go do any last-minute merchant business. Also, it would help to use the old travel-and-suppress routine to get your spirit energy to 100 and your craving to the minimum, though you don't necessarily have to.
of 14: When you're ready, go back through the Veil Theater's shadow portal, then exit the shadow theater and head north to the Death God's Vault.
of 14: After you enter the vault, move north to find the locked gate that Kaelyn the Dove was contemplating when you found her back in Act I, Part 3.
of 14: That gate will already be open if you finished the optional "The Death God's Vault" quest earlier. If not, see it now for hints on how to get to the lower-level room that has the Betrayer's Gate at its north end.
of 14: When you reach that room, you'll be at a point of no return, so think hard on whether or not you have any unfinished business anywhere that you want to attend to first.
of 14: When you're ready, click on the Betrayer's Gate and choose to insert the Silver Sword of Gith into it.
of 14: When it turns into a portal, click on it to start up some companion conversations in which you may be able to declare your love for one of them and thereby gain some nice bonus effects.
of 14: After you go through the gate and speak to Zoab, move forward to where a conversation with the City of Judgment's defenders will start up.
of 14: During the course of the conversation, you'll have to make a decision as to how to proceed from here. You can either side with Akachi's old allies against the city, or you can side with the city against Akachi's old allies.
