Shaman's Boon
1 of 8: To get this quest, talk to Nak'kai the Shaman in the Ice Troll Lodge until he offers to help with your curse.
2 of 8: Exactly what he offers to do depends on whether you consumed or spared Okku.
3 of 8: If you spared Okku, talk to Nak'kai with Okku in your party. Otherwise, go get One of Many (see the "The Death God's Vault" quest hints) before talking to Nak'kai.
4 of 8: In either case, he'll ask for three brilliant spirit essences.
5 of 8: If you don't have that many, see the above-mentioned quest hints to learn how to get to the Death God's Vault lower level, where you can use the Eternal Rest feat to get lots of brilliant spirit essences.
6 of 8: However, if you go to all that trouble and then give Nak'kai the essences, all you'll get for it is 500 XP.
7 of 8: If you have Okku, he'll pretend to strengthen him, but Okku's stats won't really change. If you've got One of Many, he'll actually betray you and turn the whole lodge hostile to you! (He really puts the "sham" into "shaman," doesn't he?)
8 of 8: NOTE: His turning the lodge against you can be a good thing if you joined the lodge earlier, and now want to fight the berserkers for XP and items. See the Ice Troll Lodge Tips for more info on the fight.
