The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Reflect Damage
of 13: Your Reflect Damage percentage determines how much non-magical melee damage from an attack on you is reflected back on the attacker. A Reflect Damage of 100% along with a Resist Magic of 100% would make you totally immune to all known forms of damage except for arrows, diseases, most poisons, environmental damage (traps, lava, falling too far, etc.), and damage that's reflected back at you. (Note that a high AC will help with arrows, and resistance to disease and poison can help with those.)
of 13: The Escutcheon of Chorrol, a shield that can be gotten on the Chorrol misc. quest "Sins of the Father," can have up to a 35% Reflect Damage effect on it, but you have to be level 25 or higher to get that good an effect.
of 13: If you have the "Vile Lair" DLC module installed, the Raiment of the Crimson Scar that you can get from Deepscorn Hollow can have a 35% Reflect Damage effect on it, but only if you're level 25 or higher when you install the module. Also, the raiment takes up four clothing slots instead of just one.
of 13: The Necklace of Swords, Ring of the Iron Fist, and Amulet of Axes each have a 33% Reflect Damage effect. One of those amulets plus the ring and the above-mentioned shield or raiment would bring your Reflect Damage total up to 101%. Unfortunately, the ring and amulets can only be found in random treasure after you reach level 20.
of 13: If you have the "Mehrunes' Razor" DLC module installed, you can get the Bladeturn Hood from Frathen Drothan. It'll have a 15% Reflect Damage on it if you're level 20 or higher when you get it.
of 13: The Ring of Namira from Namira's Daedric Shrine Quest has a 12% Reflect Damage on it.
of 13: Mankar Camoran's Robe, which you can get from Mankar Camoran himself in the next-to-last Main Quest, can have up to a 10% Reflect Damage on it, but you have to be level 18 or higher for it to be that high.
of 13: The Grand Ring of Retribution, which gives 9% Reflect Damage, can be gotten in random treasure once you're level 14, or it can be gotten from Raven Camoran if you're exactly level 14 when you kill him. For more about Raven, see the Mundane Ring info in the Resist Magic item list.
of 13: Valdemar's Shield, which can be gotten from one of the Undead Blades on the "Blood of the Divines" Main Quest, will have a 9% Reflect Damage if you're level 20 or higher.
of 13: The Mind and Body Ring that's a reward on an advanced Fighters Guild quest can have up to an 8% Reflect Damage effect on it, but you have to be level 10-19 to get it that high.
of 13: The Base Ring of Retribution, which also has an 8% Reflect Damage effect, can be gotten in random treasure once you're level 4. Also, you'll get it from Raven Camoran (see above) if you're level 6 or 7 when you kill him.
of 13: Burz gro-Khash in Cheydinhal has a Tiger Fang Shield, which has a 6% Reflect Damage effect on it. You can't kill him since he's a Fighters Guild quest-giver, but you can pickpocket the shield from him when he's in bed. You can also find identical shields in random loot once you're level 3.
of 13: The rest of the Reflect Damage items are all random and leveled with no sure way of getting them.
