The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints
Misdirection
1 of 12: Talk to S'krivva about "Thieves Guild special jobs" again after fencing a total of at least 300 gold worth of stolen goods.
2 of 12: That irritating oaf, Hieronymus Lex, is still at it. He's totally locked down the Imperial City's Waterfront area in an attempt to ferret out the Gray Fox.
3 of 12: Travel to one of the Imperial City districts that still has beggars roaming the streets (they'll all be marked with red arrows on your world map).
4 of 12: Bribe a beggar to tell you that Methredhel is hiding out in Dynari Amnis' house in the Talos Plaza District.
5 of 12: Go to that house and talk to Methredhel about "Waterfront invasion" to find out what her plan is.
6 of 12: She wants you to steal the Arch-Mage's special ice staff from his room in the Arcane University.
12 of 12: After the staff is properly placed, return to Bravil and talk to S'krivva about Hieronymus Lex to get promoted to where you can use a fence who's local to Bravil.
