The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Hints

Sheogorath

  • 1 of 15: Sheogorath's shrine is at location 10 on the Blackwood map.
  • 2 of 15: You'll have to be at least level 2 to get this quest.
  • 3 of 15: Talk to Ferul Ravel about "Shrine of Sheogorath" and then say that you wish to speak to Sheogorath.
  • 4 of 15: He'll tell you that you need to offer the statue a lesser soul gem, a head of lettuce, and some yarn.
  • 5 of 15: When you activate the statue with those items in hand, Sheo will tell you to go south to the small Khajiit town of Border Watch (location 8 on the map) and stir up some trouble.
  • 6 of 15: Talk to anyone there about "K'Sharra Prophecy" to be told that Ri'Bassa is the area's shaman.
  • 7 of 15: You'll either find him in his house in the NE corner of town or in the inn a ways SW of that.
  • 8 of 15: Talk to him about the prophecy and say that you're a traveling scholar.
  • 9 of 15: You'll have to get his disposition up to at least 60 before he'll tell you what the three signs of the prophecy are.
  • 10 of 15: Of the three, you need to arrange for the first two to happen.
  • 11 of 15: As soon as all six sheep are dead, Sheo will contact you telepathically and tell you to go to the center of town.
  • 12 of 15: From the cooking pot you put the cheese in, head down the stairs that the rats came up until you're stuck in place.
  • 13 of 15: Wait and watch while Sheo causes a bunch of flaming dogs to fall from the sky.
  • 14 of 15: TIP: After that, it can be fun to use a Frenzy spell to set the natives to fighting each other. If you're fairly high-level, they'll have some good equipment on them.
  • 15 of 15: Return to Sheo's shrine and activate the statue to get your reward of a staff called Wabbajack.
