The Orange Box: Portal Hints
Section 3: Turret Ambush and RPG Sentry
1 of 14: The crouch-only passage next to where you land just leads to another old hideout room, so move down the main passageway.
2 of 14: You'll come to a room with a three-piston "floor."
3 of 14: When you try to cross the room, the pistons will open and drop you down into a turret ambush area.
5 of 14: The reason you need to be on the tube is that the nearby room with malfunctioning turrets in it is worthless, and you need to get onto the walkway above that room.
6 of 14: To do that, jump over toward the upper walkway from on the cube tube. (There are two spots with railing breaks, but you don't have to use them, since you can jump over the railing.)
7 of 14: Search the walkway for a crouch-only exit, then use it to drop down behind a turret.
8 of 14: Knock the turret over, then enter a large room through the hatch that opens in the wall.
