Portal 2 Hints

Turret Testing Area

  • 1 of 7: Go through a small room to get to a metal walkway in a large room that has two "turret redemption line" conveyor belts.
  • 2 of 7: Past the turret redemption area is the observation hallway for a turret test-firing range.
  • 3 of 7: Go along the metal walkways past that room until you catch up with Wheatley, then move on to enter the main turret control room.
  • 4 of 7: Wait until Wheatley tells you to turn around, then do so and wait until he breaks the window on the door of the turret scanning room. You'll then need to get in there and get rid of the "template" turret.
  • 5 of 7: After the template turret is gone, the scanner will keep the production line going from memory, so you'll have to find another way to mess it up.
  • 6 of 7: Go over to the closed door on the other side of the control room and wait for it to open, then go along the walkway until you reach the employee daycare center.
  • 7 of 7: Go through it to get to another metal walkway, then follow it along until you come to the entrance to an airlock that'll take you to the Neurotoxin Generator region.
