Return To Mysterious Island 2: Mina's Fate Hints
GOAL: "Cross the pit guarded by the monkeys"
1 of 12: Ouch. All-out Monkey Warfare.
2 of 12: Thankfully, we can pick them off one at a time.
3 of 12: You're going to need to build a weapon to fire at them from range.
4 of 12: Use the blowgun on the two nasty monkeys -- that is, the fourth monkey from the left, and Slugger, who we met at the outset of the game. Don't shoot Amber and Leonard.
5 of 12: Now, Mina will persuade Jep to act as an ambassador, and will tell you to raise the friendship meter to green, for each of the monkeys.
6 of 12: However, before we do that, jump back into Mina's arms and have her go to that stranded monkey you saw right at the beginning of the game.
7 of 12: Make a rope using your knife and the spool of string, and repeat the process three times, then combine the three cords to make a rope.
8 of 12: Now, as Jep, you can begin making friends with all these simians.
9 of 12: Okay, we're not going to be able to appeal to Slugger, as he's lame. As for the other one -- meh. We'll be fine, don't worry.
10 of 12: Head back to the entrance to the temple, and start using your blowgun on the two monkeys who aren't friendly with you.
11 of 12: You need to get their health meters down to red -- both of them, and both at the same time, so vary your shots between the two and eventually they'll head for the hills.
