How do I get Dr. Olivaw to restore the crucifix?

  • 1 of 16: She seems really busy right now... nothing you say will convince her to stop what she's doing so she can help you.
  • 2 of 16: Perhaps you can trick her into working on it.
  • 3 of 16: There are a bunch of items on that shelf next to her... chances are, she doesn't know exactly what's up there.
  • 4 of 16: She'd probably restore anything she finds on the shelves.
  • 5 of 16: Just place your crucifix on the shelf.  Now, you need to do something to get the Doctor moving so she actually gets to the crucifix.
  • 6 of 16: It looks like she's going to be working on her current item for a long time... you may have to resort to drastic measures.
  • 7 of 16: Perhaps you could tinker with some of her equipment.
  • 8 of 16: Take a look at the laser in the restoration lab.  Brian will notice that it could be made stronger by putting in a larger ruby.
  • 9 of 16: Conveniently, you can find a larger ruby somewhere nearby, but it's a little tricky to get.
  • 10 of 16: It's in the analysis laboratory.
  • 11 of 16: There's a big ruby on the mask in the thermal chamber.
  • 12 of 16: Now, you just need to get the ruby out of the mask.  Something you should have in your inventory by now will help you here.
  • 13 of 16: Take a look at that Mayan object you swapped for your crucifix.
  • 14 of 16: Use the object on the mask and the ruby will pop right out.
  • 15 of 16: Use the ruby on the laser, and watch what happens.  The Dr. Olivaw will freak out and demand an iced mocha.
  • 16 of 16: She's pretty bent out of shape.  You'll probably have to fulfill her request before you can get any useful work out of her.
