What do I do with these empty nooses?
1 of 6: Where? It's clear you need to do something, certainly. But don't do anything till you know what you're doing.
2 of 6: Read the two messages on the wall first.
3 of 6: The writing makes it clear that one of the men was unjustly hanged, though it's not clear which one, and that pulling the noose of the innocent man will make something good happen.
4 of 6: Have you visited the room with the hanged men?
5 of 6: When you think you know which man was innocent, pull the noose in the same position as the innocent man. The correct one depends on what Riddle level you're playing at:
6 of 6: Then go back to the room with the hanged man. If you pulled the correct noose, the body is gone and there's a key in its place. If you didn't pull the right noose, you got attacked in the hallway by demons, and you'll have to try again.
