The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
Greenmote Notes
1 of 5: The silo will remain open from now on, and you can sneak back in and raid the huge pile of greenmote in the east room whenever you want to get some more greenmote for your own use.
2 of 5: Using it three times in a row will kill you, but using it just once will give the following effects for 60 seconds: Night-Eye, Fortify Personality, Endurance, and Speed 10 points each, and Drain Intelligence, Agility, and Strength 10 points each. (Also, your vision goes a bit blurry for the duration.)
3 of 5: Since its effects aren't cumulative, there's no reason to eat another greenmote portion until after the current one has worn off.
4 of 5: If your Alchemy skill isn't 100 yet, you can use greenmote as a second script-effect ingredient while making potions from Hearts of Order. (See the Heart of Order Notes for more details on that.)
5 of 5: NOTE: If you make potions out of greenmote, they'll count as poisons, but they won't be very useful as such. The "three strikes and you're out" policy only applies to you -- it can't be used to quick-kill a tough enemy.
