Black Book: The Hidden Twilight

  • 1 of 7: The black book that starts this quest is in the locked room in the Tel Mithryn tower, and can only be gotten to after finishing the "Reluctant Steward" side quest.
  • 2 of 7: Reading that book will put it in your inventory and get you transported to Hermaeus Mora's special Oblivion plane, known as Apocrypha. If this is your first visit, Mora will give you a verbal intro, and then you'll get this quest.
  • 3 of 7: From where you start, go across the round platform that's in front of you, then either use a "scrye" device to open a gate or skip that and take a shortcut.
  • 4 of 7: After you read the "Chapter VIII" book, kill the seeker that's just ahead, then get onto the large ramp. (Note that you might need to jump onto it.)
  • 5 of 7: Past the ramp and a short bridge, watch out for a lurker on the left. There may also be one on the right. After you kill it/them, use a scrye device to open the gate ahead.
  • 6 of 7: Go along the walkway past the gate to reach a raised platform, then look around on it for some treasure and a huge copy of the book that this quest is named after.
  • 7 of 7: Activate the book to open it, then aim at a spot a ways above each of the glowing green circles to get prompts for Mora's Agony, Mora's Grasp, and Mora's Boon.
