The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Black Book: Untold Legends
of 10: The black book that starts this quest is in Benkongerike.
of 10: Reading that book will put it in your inventory and get you transported to Hermaeus Mora's special Oblivion plane, known as Apocrypha. If this is your first visit, Mora will give you a verbal intro, and then you'll get this quest.
of 10: From where you start, move along the passageway until you reach a pedestal with a "Chapter II" book on it.
of 10: Use the book to be teleported, then move along the walkway while watching out for a lurker.
of 10: At the path split, you can go right to find a "Chapter III" book, and left to find a "Chapter IV" book. The IV book is the one you need to use to continue, with the other one just taking you to an optional loot and combat area.
of 10: After using the "Chapter IV" book, move ahead until you come to a room with three seekers in it. If you're sneaky, you can get the drop on the seekers and sneak-attack them.
of 10: After they're all dead, go to the south end of the room to find a closed gate past some retracted stone steps.
of 10: Use the "Chapter V" book that's past that gate, then move along until a warpy tunnel section curves you toward a lurker's area. Kill the lurker to open a gate, then go past it to find another gate that you can open with a scrye device.
of 10: Go back down the warpy tunnel, which may or may not curve you toward another lurker combat area. After one or two such side trips, you'll be able to reach a huge copy of the book that this quest is named after.
of 10: Activate the book to open it, then aim at a spot a ways above each of the glowing green circles to get prompts for Black Market, Secret Servant, and Bardic Knowledge.
