World Map Exploration Guide
Instead of making graphics of the world map areas with all fast-travel locations marked with numbered squares, I decided to create a guide that listed all fast-travel locations with directions on getting to them so that avid explorers could use it as a checklist while going around and discovering everything. (Note that all directions are approximate, and you'll need to use the markers that appear on your compass to help you navigate.)
Since it's cheap and easy to use the carriage services at most city stables to discover all the other cities, the location list is broken up into nine city-related sections. Everything that's closer to Dawnstar than any other city is listed in the Dawnstar section, and so on. If you haven't discovered any stables yet, do Main Quests until you reach Whiterun, which has a stable with carriage service. You can then start on some serious world map explorations. Remember to save often, and read through the Combat Tips to learn how useful potions, followers, and conjured creatures can be during the exploration process.
