Tips for Crafting Jewelry to Sell

  • 1 of 5: Whenever you talk to blacksmith merchants, always buy all the iron and silver ore they have for sale.
  • 2 of 5: After you get the Transmute spell (see the Spell-Learning Tips), you can use it to turn iron ore into silver ore, and silver ore into gold ore.
  • 3 of 5: You can then make silver and gold ingots at smelters, and can use forges to make jewelry out of the ingots.
  • 4 of 5: Also, save up all the gems (garnets, amethysts, diamonds, etc.) you find in random loot. Having them in your inventory when crafting will let you make much more valuable jewelry. (And enchanting the jewelry before selling it will make it even more valuable.)
  • 5 of 5: NOTE: Not every type of jewel can be used with gold ingots to make jewelry, so do make some silver ingots, too. After you transmute an iron ore chunk into a silver ore chunk, drop the silver ore on the ground (or put it in a container) before casting the Transmute spell again. Do that several times, then pick up all your silver ore and make some silver ingots.
