How can I drain the reservoir?
1 of 9: Pull the plug? No, that would be too easy. Looks like we have a puzzle to solve here.
2 of 9: Look for any information nearby that might help understand the mechanism of the reservoir.
3 of 9: Click on the "hot spot" at the left of the picture, to come into a close-up of the mechanism controls.
4 of 9: There seems to be some kind of chart on the wall.
5 of 9: The chart appears to indicate that power to the pump (the lighted bulb) requires a reading of '4' on the water tank.
6 of 9: Too bad all we seem to have is a 3L bucket.
7 of 9: Looks like we need to find out how to get the desired reading on the tank, using the only piece of equipment we have handy -- the 3L bucket.
8 of 9: Experiment with the controls, to find out how to fill and empty the bucket, and raise and lower the level in the water tank.
9 of 9: Using what you know about how the various objects interact, your goal is to get the water level in the tank set at exactly the 4L level. (There are no clear markings on the tank. You will need to keep track of how much water is in there, based on the quantities that you pour in, and drain out.)
