Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Hints

How can I find the local "lost Jedi?"

  • 1 of 18: After moving forward and getting your "starport visa" from the local port master, start looking around for the doctor guy that Mandalore said he knew.
  • 2 of 18: Find the exit from the spaceport that leads to the merchant quarter and use it after answering the guard's questions.
  • 3 of 18: NOTE: The Light Side / Dark Side paths don't split for quite awhile, but if you're Light Side, you'll want to be supporting the queen, whereas Dark Siders will support General Vaklu. Remember that for the various minor encounters in the merchant quarter where you get to pick sides (the journalist, the crowd around Ponlar, and the Twi'lek and Devaronian who are arguing politics).
  • 4 of 18: EXTRA: If you say to Ponlar that the queen should listen to the will of her people and then help Ponlar and his supporters fight the soldiers (walk away and come back to get this option), you'll be siding with General Vaklu and will get a bonus mission that queen supporters won't get.
  • 5 of 18: Go to the western square and, after thrashing some over-ambitious bounty hunters, head up to the NW corner where Dhagon Gent's office is.
  • 6 of 18: You'll discover that he's being held on suspicion of murder. It figures that you'd have to go to a lot of trouble to help him before he can help you.
  • 7 of 18: After entering the doc's place and raiding some containers and using the lab station, head back to the merchant quarter to speak with Captain Riiken about the murder that Gent is accused of.
  • 8 of 18: NOTE: On the way back, you'll meet a second group of bounty hunters. After you thrash them, be sure to get the bounty hunter's starport visa from their remains for an optional mission.
  • 9 of 18: Captain Riiken will say that the only way you'll get to see Dhagon Gent is if he's cleared of the murder charge, and that can only happen if someone (meaning you) can find proof that somebody else did it.
  • 10 of 18: After you went to all that trouble, Gent tells you that he can't help you until you recover some encrypted holodisks that someone stole while he was in custody.
  • 11 of 18: Fortunately, these are very quick and easy to retrieve.
  • 12 of 18: Just go to the cantina and talk to Bakkel in the beastrider gang room.
  • 13 of 18: After you beat up her and her gang, search her remains to get the holodisks that Gent needs.
  • 14 of 18: When you're ready, return the holodisks to Gent and have him arrange the meeting. Be warned, though,  that the ever-troublesome Colonel Tobin will spring a trap on you, and you'll end up having to leave Onderon. Be sure to finish any optional missions (like the one about the open starport visas) before you arrange the meeting.
  • 15 of 18: The meeting is kind of dull (no chance to recruit or kill Master Kavar yet) until Colonel Tobin springs a trap. Tobin and Kavar get away for now, leaving you to wipe the floor with Tobin's troops.
  • 16 of 18: NOTE: If you've been supportive of Vaklu in your previous dealings where you had to choose a side, Tobin won't chase Kavar very far, but will come back in and verify that you're willing to help Vaklu when he makes his bid for the throne.
  • 17 of 18: Now that Iziz is crawling with people (and turrets) wanting to kill you, you have no choice but to fight your way back to the spaceport and blast off in Mandalore's shuttle. (Don't neglect to pick up all the stuff the soldiers drop after you kill them. Also note that you can still barter with 1B-8D in the western square and Margar in the spaceport.)
  • 18 of 18: Once you reach the shuttle, you'll have to take it back down to Dxun. The good news is that the Ebon Hawk is fully fixed and ready to go, and Mandalore will stick with you as a companion. Of course, you're not done with the Onderon system yet.
