Tales of Monkey Island Hints
How do I break the unbreakable bottle?
of 9: Well, if it's glass you want to know about, you want to talk to a glass craftsman. Or barring that, how about Crimpdigit, the guy who's trying to sell glass unicorns in town?
of 9: Crimpdigit says he has a special device that breaks unbreakable glass -- but of course, he won't let you use it without paying. And we got exactly NO money, so we'll have to figure something else out.
of 9: But that's no problem for a Mighty Pirate (TM) like Guybrush, is it? If a pirate wants a thing, he just takes it. Or perhaps he manufactures a distraction so he can take it without repercussions.
of 9: Have you explored your new ship, the Screaming Narwhal, yet?
of 9: There's a lovely little cannon on board. It looks like it's aimed out to sea -- but those winds are pretty fierce.
of 9: Fire the cannon, and the ensuing destruction will send Crimpdigit back into his shop to make more unicorns. This is the perfect opportunity to grab and use the unbreakable glass breaker --
of 9: -- except after you pick it up, Guybrush's green hand won't let him. Shoot! We need to get this thing under control.
of 9: Okay, we have the unbreakable bottle breaker, Guybrush's hand is under control, and we're out on our own again. Combine the breaker and the bottle in inventory and break that bottle. You've finally got the map! --
