Destination: Treasure Island Hints

Where am I supposed to go from this area?

  • 1 of 9: Checking your map, you'll see that you're close to the X that marks the spot of the buried treasure.
  • 2 of 9: Before you can get there, you'll need to figure out what the metal posts on the tree are for.
  • 3 of 9: After the skull is hung on the posts, check the next line of the enigma.
  • 4 of 9: It says to cast an eye at the skull and see where it comes to rest.
  • 5 of 9: That probably means to drop an item through one of the skull's eye sockets, like in the Gold Bug story.
  • 6 of 9: You can't use just any item. The game wants you to use an actual eye.
  • 7 of 9: A glass eye will do.
  • 8 of 9: If you haven't picked it up yet, return to the Gallows Cave area and get the glass eye that fell down with the skeleton.
  • 9 of 9: Use the glass eye with the skull on the tree, and it'll roll over the cliff edge.
