1 of 2: As with the main game, many quests come with rewards, either in the form of gold or valuable items. The Thief, The Museum, and The Matchmaker are some of the side quests you may want to look at for relatively low-risk, high-reward options.
2 of 2: One additional tip is that, if you can survive the combat, the goblin and goblin footsoldier monsters in some Old Mournhold areas (including the Palace Sewers) usually carry valuable equipment. Goblin bucklers are worth $1,000 and goblin clubs are priced at $3,000. For a steady source of income, you could enter the Palace Sewers, kill all the monsters in it, dispose of the goblin corpses that had valuable stuff on them, and then exit and reenter the Palace Sewers to cause those disposed-of goblins to respawn. Kill and loot them again, repeating as often as you like and then selling the goods to the guys in Godsreach and the Great Bazaar.
