The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal Hints
The Museum
1 of 8: This isn't so much a quest as it is an opportunity.
2 of 8: Go to the Museum of Artifacts in Godsreach and talk to the curator, Torasa Aram.
3 of 8: She'll tell you that the Museum buys historical artifacts for half of their listed value, up to 30,000 gold. While a 50% exchange rate may not sound so great, remember that merchants tend to only have 10,000 gold at the very best. If you trade a valuable item for some gold and some new items, and then wait and sell the new items for more gold, you can sometimes do better, but repeated bartering can get to be tiresome. You may prefer a quick sale at the Museum, particularly if you haven't been practicing your Mercantile skill.
4 of 8: If you can sell an item that you have in your inventory, its name will appear in the list of conversation choices when you talk to Torasa. Simply choose the topic and then agree to Torasa's price if you want to sell the item.
5 of 8: Read the book called Famed Artifacts of Tamriel that's on the bench in the back of the Museum for a pretty good list of items that you can buy and sell. Not every artifact you can sell is listed there, nor will the museum buy every artifact listed in the book -- but the Museum will buy *most* items listed there.
6 of 8: Most of the items are found in the main Morrowind game, and their locations are covered in the hints for that game. A few of these items are available in Mournhold, though. For a full list of what Torasa will actually buy, either just see if they appear in conversation with her, or read ahead. The internal item names (to use in cheat codes) are also listed below. (Note: it appears that you must have one and only one of an item to sell it. Summoning a second item into your inventory will prevent you from selling it, but simply drop one of the copies if this happens.)
To summon an item, hit the ~ key to bring up the console, type the command player->additem "item name" 1 and hit ~ again to close the console window. Of course, replace item name with the item names listed in the next hint, but *do* keep the quotes around the item name itself. For example, you'd type player->additem "boots of blinding speed[unique]" 1 as your cheat command.
7 of 8: All of these artifacts are available in Vvardenfell, as part of the main Morrowind game.
