Uru: Ages Beyond Myst Hints
Where are the desert age Journey Cloths?
1 of 11: 1) You will see another Journey Cloth not too far above you when you first entered this age.
2 of 11: It's up fairly high on a ledge.
3 of 11: While you might be able to jump at that ledge from the adjacent part of the main path, I'd recommend looking underneath the ledge instead.
4 of 11: There's another one of those vents underneath.
5 of 11: Use it to propel you up to the ledge the same way that you got up over a wall while solving that puzzle.
6 of 11: Just make sure the vent underneath the ledge stays open, then close all the rest, and stand on that last open one.
7 of 11: 2) You can see another Journey Cloth on a small ledge above the lava.
8 of 11: Probably the easiest way to get this one is to stand on the path that's above this ledge, and then *walk* carefully off the path onto the edge. Do not run off the path, or you may go too far and end up falling into the lava immediately. (You might also be able to use the vents to get up there, the same way that you used them in the other puzzles, but I personally don't think it's worth the trouble.)
9 of 11: Unless you really feel like trying to jump off to somewhere safe, it's probably simpler just to link out of here with your Relto book and then return to the age to finish.
10 of 11: 3) You'll get this as a reward for lighting up several rooms.
