Voyage Hints
What is the clearer solution?
of 26: The solution that will provide the clear answer to the keypad code requires some intuition, and some action, on Ardan's part.
of 26: Look around the courtyard area, where you entered through the first large door.
of 26: What happened when you came through that door?
of 26: A short cut-scene immediately directed your attention to the wall on the right, which contains some blue diagrams and symbols.
of 26: Do any of these symbols look familiar?
of 26: The more complex diagrams are unclear right now; but near the bottom there is something that is very similar to the "formulas" shown on the various ledges, which provided to clues for subduing the plants.
of 26: In this case, instead of a "greater than" symbol (">") -- which was used to indicate "subdues" or "overcomes" -- this time there seems to be an equation of some sort, indicated by the "plus" ("+") and "equals" ("=") symbols.
of 26: And two of the symbols at the beginning of the equation look familiar, because they were also used in the formulas on the ledges.
of 26: In fact, they represent the fruit of the blue and yellow plants.
of 26: And the final symbol -- the one to the right of the "equals" sign -- is one that you've had in your list of "known ideograms" since the beginning of the game.
of 26: It stands for "food", or "eat".
of 26: So a loose interpretation of this equation might be "Blue fruit + yellow fruit = food/eat".
of 26: Could this be indicating that the blue and yellow fruits might be combined ("added") to get something edible?
of 26: Have you tried feeding any of the fruit of the various plants to Ardan?
