Voyage Hints
I can't figure out how to solve this -- help!
of 13: Be sure that you've read the other two clues pertaining to this puzzle, as they will provide a good starting point for solving it.
of 13: The goal is to enter two Selenite numbers into the two bottom boxes, and then validate them by pressing the "Enter" key.
of 13: Since the top two boxes change after each incorrect "guess", or each time you enter (or re-enter) the puzzle, it would seem to indicate that these two Selenite numbers are the key to solving the bottom two boxes.
of 13: What relationship might the top two boxes and bottom two boxes have?
of 13: This puzzle can be solved completely from inside the close-up view of the puzzle. No outside information is necessary (other than understanding the Selenite numbering system).
of 13: Look carefully at the left side of the screen.
of 13: It looks like someone has scratched some "graffiti" into the back wall of the puzzle panel.
of 13: In fact, the layout of the graffiti makes it look like someone was doing some kind of arithmetic "sums".
of 13: In each case, the Selenite number for "6" was added to another two-digit Selenite number, to arrive at another two-digit Selenite number representing the sum. (Interesting coincidence -- the puzzle is located at position "6" on the ground!)
of 13: What would happen if you tried to do the same thing -- i.e., add 6 to the two-digit number in the top two boxes?
of 13: Try putting the resultant sum into the bottom two boxes (in Selenite, of course!)
of 13: When you think you have done that correctly, click the "Enter" button at the bottom right.
of 13: If your answer was correct, the green light at the top of the panel will light. Otherwise, a red light will go on, and a new two-digit number will be presented in the top two boxes. And you can start the process over again!
