Voyage Hints
I lost my elevator key(s).
of 24: It is a good practice always to keep your elevator keys with you, except when you are using them in the elevator. Each time you leave the elevator, take any keys you have used with you.
of 24: In most cases, if you leave a key (or keys) in the elevator, they will be there when you return. However, under random circumstances, a key left in the elevator may "disappear" -- i.e., may not be there when you return to use the elevator again.
of 24: Remember that the aliens do not necessarily think very highly of you. Some, in fact, may even be a bit jealous, particularly of your ability to wander around their domain. And they might even try to limit your movements by taking a key that was left somewhere out of your possession.
of 24: Typically, this will only happen on Level 3 in the underground caverns.
of 24: And the only alien on this level (to whom you can talk, anyway) is Scurvy, the alien shepherd at the left end of the hall.
of 24: If you have lost a key, go talk with Scurvy. You should find that he has it. (In fact, it will probably be on a small shelf behind Scurvy.)
of 24: But he's reluctant to give it back. You're going to have to find a way to get around that reluctance.
of 24: The only thing you can control, regarding the aliens in the underground caverns, is their food intake.
of 24: You'll need to "spike" the food vat, in an attempt to gain an edge on Scurvy.
of 24: What can you put into the food vat?
of 24: Have you tried different compotes (combinations of lunar fruit) on Ardan himself?
of 24: You may already have found one compote that gives Ardan extra energy, or another that results in him "seeing weird".
of 24: There is one particular compote, though, that has a very unsettling effect on Ardan.
of 24: In this case, it's not completely created from lunar fruit only.
of 24: Have you planted the vine on the ledge of the mountain yet?
