Bioshock Hints
Get to higher ground.
of 11: After the bathysphere door opens, move forward and along the red carpet.
of 11: If you look to the right at the path junction, you'll see a machine called a Vita-Chamber. If you want to know more about them, check the manual, walk up to this one and press the Map Screen key, or see my Vita-Chamber Tips. (Just be advised that Vita-Chambers are no replacement for regular saves.)
of 11: Turn and go the other way until you come to a rubble-blocked area where Atlas uses a hacked security bot to chase off the splicer who killed Johnny.
of 11: In the big lounge area past the stairs, check around for supplies, then figure out a way to open the big Securis door that's in the middle of the south wall.
of 11: As you move into the tunnel past the door, the tail from your crashed airplane will choose that moment to descend to this depth and ram the tunnel!
of 11: After the door's open and the splicers are dead, look around for supplies, then go up the stairs to find yourself in an elevator area with a flaming thuggish splicer.
of 11: When you're done exploring and looting, go through the sliding doors that lead to the elevators, then enter the only one that's open and undamaged.
of 11: As the elevator ascends, you'll complete this goal and get the next one, which is "Go to Neptune's Bounty."
