Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening Hints
Kill the darkspawn in the silverite mine.
1 of 8: After leveling Velanna up and checking her equipment, park your party in the Dalish camp and send one character north to lure in the darkspawn that are now between you and the mine entrance.
2 of 8: When the way to the mine is clear, you can use its area transition point to enter it, but you should first finish exploring the Dalish camp and both sides of the wood's northern section.
3 of 8: In the mine, go down the wooden walkway and examine the scroll near its end for a codex entry, then stop. Going toward the circle design on the floor past the walkway will commit you to finishing this quest. Go back now if you'd rather do other stuff first.
4 of 8: After you're captured, Velanna's sister Serrani will talk to you briefly. During the dialogue, watch for an opportunity to get something extra from her.
5 of 8: After Serrani's gone, leave your cell and kill the darkspawn that come running. Even though you don't have any of your equipment, your spells and talents should make the battle easy.
6 of 8: In the room where you find the last of your equipment, there's a merchant named Armaas. Get him to agree to go to Vigil's Keep later, then try to persuade him to give you a discount on his wares.
7 of 8: After doing merchant business with him, continue south to enter an arena where you'll have to fight two dragon thralls.
