Early Redcliffe Village Tour

  • 1 of 15: Look around the chantry to find two books, a pile of books, and a bookshelf that all give codex entries.
  • 2 of 15: If you did the Korcari Wilds' "Last Will and Testament" optional quest back in Part 2, you can talk to Jetta and tell her of her husband's fate. You can also turn over the lockbox if you saved it for Jetta rather than looting it.
  • 3 of 15: Before you leave the chantry, talk to Kaitlyn near its exit door to get the "A Missing Child" optional quest.
  • 4 of 15: Finish that quest, then go down the path that leads along the chantry building's south side to find a deathroot plant.
  • 5 of 15: Go SE from there to find a wooden crate, then go farther SE to find a barrel and a sign to read for a codex entry.
  • 6 of 15: Get onto the boardwalk near the barrel and run along it until you find the door to the general store.
  • 7 of 15: There aren't any merchants in the store, but you can read a codex-giving note, raid a locked chest, and examine a barrel to note that it could be used in the village's defense.
  • 8 of 15: Just NE of the store is Dwyn's home. He can be a big help in the upcoming undead attack if you can convince him to fight.
  • 9 of 15: Look behind the smithy building to find a locked chest and a deathroot plant, then cross the nearby bridge to find another deathroot plant growing next to the water.
  • 10 of 15: Go up the sloping path west of the smithy and turn left to find another deathroot plant near a wooden structure. Go through the structure's left side and along a short path to reach a locked chest and wooden crate.
  • 11 of 15: Go up the steep path to the left of the wooden structure to reach the tavern. Inside, you can arrange for the militia to get free drinks, expose the elf Berwick as a spy, and get free items from Lloyd's merchant inventory.
  • 12 of 15: Read the graffiti on the tavern's bar counter for a codex entry before you leave, then go east to find a stone bridge and a wooden bridge.
  • 13 of 15: Cross the wooden bridge first to find a house. In it, you can examine a bookshelf for a codex entry and loot a locked chest.
  • 14 of 15: Cross the stone bridge and go up the trail to the mill, where you can loot a wooden crate and a special Andraste's Grace flower. You can also enter the mill to find another crate.
  • 15 of 15: NOTE: You can go past the barricades north of the mill to find the gate that leads to the Redcliffe Castle area, but there's no use in going there now.
