Fallout: New Vegas Hints
Head to the summit of Black Mountain and end Tabitha's reign of terror.
1 of 11: Go down the road past Neil's shack until you reach a small yellow "falling rocks" sign on your right.
2 of 11: Continuing down the road will get you attacked by a lot of super mutants (many of which have incinerators) and nightkin (many of which are invisible at first). It's better to go around them.
3 of 11: Go south from the "falling rocks" sign to pass between two small hills, then continue south until you reach a large rocky wall.
4 of 11: Make your way SE along it until you come to a short fence with a gate. Go through the gate, then go SE until you reach a small tree, then continue SE until you reach the bottom of what looks like a wide, steep path.
5 of 11: Go up the path and hop onto the ledge past it, then turn left and go over to where you can hop up onto the upper ground.
6 of 11: Once there, you can go east to a large satellite dish structure, then NE to a fence. Pressing up against the fence should get you credit for discovering Black Mountain. (It may also get you noticed by one of the nightkin inside the compound if you're not careful.)
7 of 11: You now need to dispose of all the nightkin who are guarding the compound. You can do that either by yourself or with Neil's help.
9 of 11: Talk to Raul and tell him to enjoy his freedom, then ask him to tag along with you to get him to become a follower. Note, though, that Tabitha and several nightkin will attack you when you go outside.
10 of 11: Killing them will finish the quest, but there are two other ways to deal with Tabitha if you do so before getting Raul to follow you. One of them involves killing her, and the other one doesn't.
