Exactly how could I get my confiscated weapons back?
1 of 6: Everything that was taken from you is in the middle of the three weapon footlockers that are near the exit gate.
2 of 6: You can't pick the lock on the footlocker, but you can pickpocket its key from the main gate guard.
3 of 6: You can then open the footlocker and get all of your weapons back, but everyone in the Fort will immediately turn hostile, even if you were able to loot the footlocker unseen.
4 of 6: If you want some non-holdout weapons in the Fort area for some reason, it's easy enough to steal various weapons from the footlockers in the tents inside the main Fort structure, and to pickpocket weapons from the Legion soldiers.
5 of 6: If you're wanting to kill off Legion soldiers for XP and loot (including the weapon confiscation guys) without turning the whole Fort hostile, there's a way to sneak in a powerful silenced weapon to do that with.
6 of 6: Or if your Sneak skill is high enough to sneak in grenades and other explosives, you could use a stealth boy and then pickpocket an explosive into the inventories of the Fort's two weapon confiscation guys. After they're eliminated, you can bring in powerful silenced weapons (and whatever else) directly.
