How do I get here?
1 of 6: The Enclave is located on an oil rig.
2 of 6: That means you're going to need to find a way to travel on water.
3 of 6: I would recommend trying to repair the tanker in San Francisco, and letting it take you to your destination.
4 of 6: Note that there's no way back to San Francisco -- at least before the end of the game -- once you take this route, so make sure to bring everything that you need with you on the way.
5 of 6: In particular, this means that you should probably bring a good supply of stimpacks and ammunition for your weapons of choice with you. You will find some spare supplies scattered about the base, but note that you might not be able to find ammunition for all weapons -- only a few types of ammo are available.
6 of 6: If necessary, use your party members to carry excess weight. You can't bring the car along with you (or if you can, I never found a way), so don't count on the trunk for storage.
