Fallout 3 Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints

Find the ruins of Olney Powerworks.

  • 1 of 5: Mention that Old Olney is a dangerous place to get the "(Optional) Speak with Scribe Vallincourt in the Citadel Lab" objective, then do it to get a useful gadget.
  • 2 of 5: Next, you'll probably want to go dump some items, and maybe return to the Rockland Car Tunnel and go through that whole area again to pick up more valuable loot that you had to leave behind before. Be sure to take Fawkes with you, since some of the Enclave soldiers may have respawned.
  • 3 of 5: Go do the "(Optional) Use Enclave-controlled Deathclaws to your advantage" objective for extra combat and loot if you want to, then go to Old Olney and watch out for hostile deathclaws as you look for one of the two Olney Sewers entrances.
  • 4 of 5: There are more hostile deathclaws in the sewers, so proceed cautiously. If you can't sneak past them, be sure to have Fawkes with you so he can help you kill them.
  • 5 of 5: Make your way to the quest-arrow-marked ladder that leads to the Old Olney Underground area. You'll have to go through it and the Old Olney S. Wilson Building to get to the powerworks.
