Fallout 3 Hints
Falls Church/Mason Dst Metro
1 of 9: This metro area has exits to Falls Church Metro (Falls Church region), Hubris Comics (Mason District region), and the Franklin Metro Utility area. This guided tour assumes you're entering from Falls Church Metro.
2 of 9: Go down the tunnel to the messed-up mezzanine, then make your way over the rubble piles to reach the rightmost of the two escalators that go up to the upper floor.
3 of 9: Look for two pieces of crunchy mutfruit on the floor near the top of the escalator, then make your way through the barricades to the diner. In it, you'll find a raider, plus a pre-war book and a dart package on the SE corner table.
4 of 9: Behind the counter, you'll find two ovens to search for pilot lights, a suitcase between the ovens, a stealth boy and two pressure cookers on the left oven, and a lunchbox, motorcycle gas tank, and motorcycle handbrake to the right of the right oven.
5 of 9: Go up the ramp on the north side of the mezzanine's upper floor, then look for some radroaches as well as a few items next to the second-from-left turnstile. Farther down, you'll find a garbage can next to a bathroom that has two more garbage cans in it, plus some lockers, two sinks to drink from, and a first aid box on a wall.
6 of 9: The other bathroom a bit farther down has mole rats in it, plus two unset frag mines next to a skeleton, some lockers, a locked first aid box on a wall, a Medicine skill book on top of the first aid box, two drink-sinks, and two garbage cans (one outside).
7 of 9: Farther down, you'll find more radroaches and the gate that leads to the Hubris Comics building.
8 of 9: Return to the mezzanine's lower floor and go down the right side of the big tunnel that leads east. Kill the ghouls in the tunnel, then look for tin cans, a toolbox, a stimpak, and some other items just before the tunnel curves south.
9 of 9: Head down the left side of the tunnel, looking for more tin cans, until you reach a side door to the Franklin Metro Utility area. To enter it, you'll have to either lockpick the door or hack the terminal and unlock the door with it.
