Essence Notes
1 of 3: Any spirit essence will work, and you'll be able to get it back later.
2 of 3: I'm not sure if a more powerful spirit essence will make your golem stronger, but you might as well use a pristine spirit essence if you can, just in case it helps.
3 of 3: If you don't have any spirit essences at all, you can get a brilliant one by either doing the "Skeleton Keys" quest or buying one from the pit fiends in the instructors' quarters area.
