The Orange Box: Portal Hints

Section 2: Bunch of Piston Areas

  • 1 of 6: Move along the dim hallway until you reach the first of several piston-filled areas that you'll need to get past.
  • 2 of 6: After you portal-fling yourself to the highest ledge in piston area #2, you'll find your progress to the #3 area blocked by two small piston hazards.
  • 3 of 6: After you drop onto the cube tube, walk along it until you can drop down to a lower cube tube. (Be careful not to fall into the toxic waste below.)
  • 4 of 6: Move along the lower tube to reach the fourth and final piston area.
  • 5 of 6: Move along piston area #4's upper walkway until you come to a big shaft with railing all around it.
  • 6 of 6: Jump over the railing and drop down the shaft to get Section 3: Turret Ambush and RPG Sentry to load.
