Singularity Hints
How do I defeat this massive monster?
1 of 9: By shooting it in its vulnerable spots while strafing left and right to dodge its attacks as best you can. (You can also run forward to avoid its attacks, but be sure to back up again right afterward.)
2 of 9: To start with, its vulnerable spots are the four glowing pusbags that are on its underbelly. Two are near its front legs, and the other two are near its central legs. Blast the upper two away with the sniper rifle (using temporal dilation) as quickly as you can.
3 of 9: The lower two pusbags will be much harder to hit with the sniper rifle, so you'll probably want to switch to the autocannon for those. (It's easier to foil mouth attacks with, anyway.)
4 of 9: When you destroy the last of the four starting pusbags, more will grow around the queen's head. Use the sniper rifle on the easiest one to hit (which will probably the one on the left) until they all burst.
5 of 9: Next, it'll grow pusbags on its two front legs, plus one on its underbelly about halfway between them. It may also have another one on its head right away. If not, it'll appear after you bust the other three.
6 of 9: After you shoot away all four of those, it'll be out of pusbags. It'll knock the train cars around as it retreats, so stand still until the shaking is over. After you get a checkpoint save, reload it to restore your health, then deal with the phase ticks that come after you.
7 of 9: Check your car for a health pack, then move through the phase ticks' car and jump over to the next car. Move forward slowly on it until the tick queen rips its roof off.
9 of 9: Keep moving along, jumping crates that are in your way, until you reach the engine car. It has the energy you need to finally kill the tick queen.
