How can I get to the barrow's Word Wall?
1 of 12: Open the other iron door that's near the one that leads to the "ghost's" room.
2 of 12: Wait for the flame trap to shut off, then go through the next door and on to a puzzle-lock door.
3 of 12: In the next room, the gate at the other end will try to close right in front of you. You can move up close to it and then sprint past it before it closes, but that's not necessary.
4 of 12: Just past the gate is a stairwell with a trap door floor. You can either get on the stairs right away to avoid the trap, or you can fall into it and then swim up and use a pull chain to close it beneath you.
5 of 12: Go through the door that's halfway up the stairwell, then watch out for pressure plates on the floor (and a skeleton) in the next passage.
6 of 12: In the room past the passage, shoot a fireball or some other fire-based spell at the large oil spill on the lower floor (or hit one of the hanging lamps with an arrow) to easily finish off several skeletons, then go up the log stairs on the other side of the room.
7 of 12: Kill a couple of draugr, then go through an iron door and try to jump over a tripwire to avoid activating a swinging-axe trap. Past it, fight your way through a draugr crypt area, watching out for a swinging gate trap in its approximate center.
8 of 12: If you can't pick the lock on the door at the end of the crypt, search the draugr until you find a key. Past the door is a canal area where you'll need to figure out how to lower a raised bridge.
9 of 12: Past the bridge, watch out for a swinging gate trap and a tripwire that starts a rockfall. Get past those quickly, then kill a draugr and move on to find a door that leads to the Shroud Hearth Depths area.
10 of 12: Move into the huge chamber to get skeletons and draugr to start emerging from their sarcophagi. Keep killing them until a draugr overlord emerges, then kill it to get the bridge that's just past its sarcophagus to lower.
11 of 12: Go down the tunnel past the bridge to reach a large chamber with a trapped treasure chest followed by the Word Wall.
12 of 12: To the right of the Word Wall is a bridge leading to a door that goes back to the main barrow area. Use a pull chain to lower a secret door, then go down the tunnel to find another pull-chain-opened secret door that leads back to the "ghost's" room.
